20-30 ish individual therapy
Managing personal wellbeing, relationships, friendships, parenthood, family, finances, and careers, is a lot for anybody to tackle. To this mix, add battling with trauma, societal pressures and judgements, sexism, racism, classism, all the other “isms”, along with holding environmental and political concerns., and phew! I hear ya, it’s a challenge. This challenge can bring forth fear, insecurity, loneliness, and overall lots of anxiety. On the other hand, doing this “adult thing” with intentionality is also an opportunity for self discovery and growth, that I’m happy to support you through.
Through therapy, we can work together to identify the preferred and unpreferred patterns in your life, so that you can live the life you want. I will offer skill coaching and information but we will mostly find solutions through exploring your own knowledge, experiences, and strengths. Our conversations will help you increase insight about yourself, and improve self-care, decision-making and problem solving. We will begin building the blue print of the “you” that you envision, while learning to celebrate the “you” you are now.
These are some areas I can help with:
· Anxiety
· Depression
· Career
· Strengthening boundaries
· Life stage transitions
· Improving communication with loved ones
· Creating healthy habits
· Process trauma
Couples therapy
Being in a relationship can be a rewarding experience full of growth and self-discovery, AND it takes work! Thanks to the usual culprits (old school Disney, fairy tales, novelas), we get this idea that committing to another person should be as easy as laying down in a glass coffin waiting to be kissed to ride off into the distance together. The reality is that we all could use a little help to be better partners. Whether you are a new couple, engaged, married, entering parenthood for the first time, seasoned parents, monogamous, non-monogamous, heterosexual, or same-sex, or anywhere else in the relationship spectrum, I am here to help.
I can support your partnership through:
- Learning and practicing communication skills
-Healing from past relational wounds, including affairs
-Setting goals for the future to live intentionally
-Mediating difficult conversations (spirituality, finances, marriage, kids)
-Co-parenting
-Learning how to avoid codependency
-Becoming better supporters of each other
